Age Policy
- The minimum age to sail is 6 months at the time of embarkation on most voyages. For itineraries that include Antarctica or expedition-style cruising, guests must be at least 6 years old at embarkation. Participation in expedition excursions for guests aged 6 and older is subject to final approval by the Captain and Expedition Leader, based on weather conditions, sea state, and the physical demands of landing activities.
- For all other cruises that feature more than two consecutive sea days, the minimum age to sail is 12 months at the time of embarkation.
- Guests under 21 years of age may not book a cruise independently. Any guest under 21 must share a suite with a parent, legal guardian, or another responsible adult who is 21 years or older and will assume full responsibility for their care throughout the voyage. For family groups reserving multiple suites, at least one guest in each suite must be 16 years or older, provided they are traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
- Group reservations for student or youth groups that do not meet these minimum age requirements are not accepted. All accompanying adults agree to supervise minors at all times and ensure full compliance with all shipboard policies, safety regulations, and carrier requirements.

To confirm a Seabourn cruise reservation, a 25% deposit is required. For cruises lasting 14 days or less, the deposit must be received within three days of booking. For cruises of 15 days or longer, the deposit is due within seven days, as specified by Seabourn. - Balance of Payment
For cruises of 31 days or less, full payment must be received by Seabourn 90 days prior to sailing. Reservations that are not paid in full by the due date may be canceled without notice. A booking is considered finalized only once full payment has been received at least 90 days before departure. For cruises of 32 days or longer, full payment is due 120 days prior to sailing. Reservations not paid in full by this deadline are subject to cancellation without notice. Seabourn accepts payments in U.S. dollars only. Approved payment methods include agency checks, personal checks, and major credit cards such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club, Discover Card, and JCB. Any onboard purchases, services, or products charged to a guest’s account must be paid in full prior to disembarkation. - Cancellation Fees
For bookings made on or after December 17, 2024, cancellation fees apply based on cruise length and the number of days prior to departure when the cancellation occurs. Cancellations made up to 121 days prior to departure incur a $100 per guest fee, which is refunded as a Future Cruise Credit (FCC).
